In the movie Practical Magic, the deathwatch beetle is a mystical omen that signals the impending death of any man loved by an Owens woman, a manifestation of a generational curse placed on the family. While the insect is a real wood-boring pest known for the tapping sound it makes, its use in the film is a fictionalized symbol of inescapable doom and ancestral trauma, rather than a literal magical event.
This bath bomb is a blue green turquoise color and is scented in a delicious blend of blackberries, amber and vanilla musk. Its painted in skin shimmers that will travel throughout the bath. This bath bomb is packed with colloidal oatmeal for the softest skin imaginable!
